Nairobi Airport Update - Updated minimum connection times

Dear Trade Partners

Following last week’s fire at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport we are pleased to announce that things are almost back to normal.

Kenya Airways has continued to operate at the Cargo terminal at JKIA and all other airlines are now back to normal, operating from Unit 3 and have almost cleared the back log of stranded clients.

However, due to the limited facilities at JKIA, transit times have had to be adjusted. Passengers must have a confirmed booking and meet revised minimum connection times as below:

International to International 90 minutes (1 hr:30mins)
International to Domestic 180 minutes (3 hrs)
Domestic to International 150 minutes (2 hrs:30mins)

Our thanks goes to the Kenya Airport's Authorities and the Kenyan Government for working together to successfully to get things back on track as quickly as possible.

Kind Regards,
The Albatros East Africa Team
