Wine Spectator is all about South Africa

South African Wine (and South Africa travel) are the cover stories in the July 2013 issues of Wine Spectator:
"South Africa: An Emerging Giant - This profoundly beautiful wine region is finding a new path to quality in the post-apartheid era. How a new generation is reshaping South Africa’s destiny, fueled by a flood of energy, technology and investment."
The Winelands are a spectacular place to visit, both for the beautiful landscapes and the many incredible wineries. In this issue, Wine Spectator covers the South African wine industry's growth and increasingly high quality product along with the ABCs of South African Wine and suggestions for touring in the Winelands. You've got to have a subscription to read the articles but Senior Editor James Molesworth's blog from his research trip to the Winelands is a great (free!) reading, especially for the winos out there!

Who doesn't love a nice glass of red and a sharp cheese pairing? Our partners at New Frontiers Tours love developing customized journeys into the beautiful Winelands outside Cape Town. Below are a few examples of their unique wine tours with a twist . . . Contact us to start creating your own wine adventure for that food and wine loving traveler!
