Post-Indaba Updates (Yes, we know it's JULY!)

Coral Lodge 15.41
Important product updates from New Frontiers Tours!

South Africa Updates:

Newmark Hotels (V&A Hotel, Queen Victoria, The Dock House and La Splendida) now has Motswari and Coral Lodge in their fold www.newmarkhotels.com . We have a great combination deal including 4 nights V&A Hotel, 4 nights Motswari, 1 night Johannesburg and 4 nights Coral Lodge.

The Blue Train has two special departures from Pretoria to Durban and vice versa in September and November.

Leobo Private Reserve is an exclusive use lodge in the Waterberg - the images on the website are remarkable, as is the private Observatory (with a local astronomer available for a private tour of the stars) www.leoboprivatereserve.com.

Sleep outs continue to grow in popularity and grow ever more sophisticated: aside from the Molori sleepout at Tswalu, More Hotels are the market leader in innovative sleep outs with three in the Sabi Sands and one in Madikwe. The images sell themselves: www.morehotels.co.za/photos.asp.

There is lots on the go in the countries neighbouring South Africa too:

Machaba on the floodplains of the Khwai River in Botswana has been receiving glowing feedback as a new kid on the block, Asilia’s camp in Gorongosa, Kubatana is set to open in April next year  (the US edition of National Geographic has a wonderful article on Gorongosa in the June edition). Zimbabwe launches its first super- luxury houseboat on Kariba this month (The Matusadona), and Norman Carr Safaris will be the market leader in luxury in South Luangwa, Zambia with the opening of Chinzombo (designed by the same award winning architects as North Island and Mombo).
