New Eco Adventure for Vic Falls:

Vic Falls Canopy Tour set to launch on 1 June 2013

Commencing on the 1st of June 2013 the Vic Falls Canopy Tour offers a unique tree top adventure. Enjoy a birds-eye view of one the seven natural wonders of the world from a network of slides, trails and rope bridge walkways within the canopy of the hardwood forest of the Zambezi gorges. This exciting, scenic eco-tour that is suitable for families and adventure seekers is set amidst the unequalled beauty of the Batoka Gorge and Zambezi River.

Quick facts:

- Highlights include stunning scenery, amazing views and forest birdlife
- Suitable for children aged 5 years and older
- There is no weight restriction as long as the harness can be fitted comfortably
- The walk out of the gorge is approximately 50 meters and should take 15 to 20 minutes
- Tours depart hourly between 8:00 and 18:00 daily and year round regardless of weather
- Duration is 2 - 2.5 hours
- Minimum two guests with a maximum eight guests per trip
- Larger groups are on requests. Private groups are quoted on a minimum of 6 guests
- Bottled water is provided
- Not suitable for pregnant women, those with heart conditions, chronic back pain, shoulder problems or people who are unable to walk up steps.

Livingstone Island visits to cease from 2 April 2013

Due to the increasing water levels of the Mighty Zambezi River, Livingstone Island visits will cease from the 02nd April 2013 until further notice. The re-opening date will be communicated as soon as possible.
